I take much pride in the quality of pictures on Bigsteel.  I've even sacrificed download time in that some of my pages are admittedly slow because I think good things come to those that wait.  More than once on the net I've seen pictures of people's home gyms and have noticed one of my pictures hanging up as and 8x10 on their wall!  Frankly, if my pictures were the typical 15k 200x150 pixels that you see many times on the web they would not be able to make a satisfactory digital printout of the picture.  I've had three different digital cameras, starting way back (in digital camera years) in 1998 with the Olympus D-500L.  Frankly, that camera would still be good enough for everyday web based pictures, but for spectacular enlargements see the cameras below.

Olympus C5050 Digital Camera I own the Grandfather of this great camera (the C-200) and with all the improvements over the last couple of years this must be one awesome camera.  Mine was only 2 Megabyte, whereas this is 5 Megabytes with a 3x zoom.  Perhaps more important, this camera has a f/1.8 lens, which means it takes pictures in low light situations better than the comparable Nikon camera.  I've stuck with Olympus, as opposed to Nikon because for the price they are better cameras.  Each time I've bought a new one I've considered the comparable Nikon and Fuji cameras but keep heading back to Olympus.  View details of Camera at Amazon.

Olympus E-20N Digital Camera     I own the E-10, the slightly older camera in this series.  All I can say is awesome!  Quite frankly the E-10 is the best piece of electronic equipment that I've ever purchased, and the E-20 (at 5 Megabytes) can only be an improvement over the E-10 (at 4 Megabytes)..   View details of Camera at Amazon.
