Here
I am bending a 60-penny nail and then pounding the ends closer with my
hand. Since these videos aren't the clearest in the
world let me explain what I am doing. First, in order to get
myself in the shot I bent down on one knee. I've never bent
a nail this way before, and it wasn't up to my full bending
standards of speed and easiness. In order to make the file
smaller I had a 12" washcloth folded up and ready to put over
the top of the "V"-shaped bend. The first hits
were tentative so that I could make sure the nail was stable and in position. Once
everything was perfect I hit it hard. When hear the grunts,
that is is when
the nail is actually bending. Enjoy. Kids, definitely
don't try this at home. I'm not kidding, you will break your
hands.
